Business Focused Training Event Premiers in June
NBFAA answers business training needs for the industry in a first-class venue

Irving, Texas, April 30, 2007 – The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) will host its first-ever training event focused on delivering industry-specific comprehensive business solutions. The event will be held June 14 and 15 on the Indiana University-Purdue University campus, in downtown Indianapolis.

Although the NBFAA’s National Training School (NTS) has been delivering standardized technical training since 1985, this is the premier of business-oriented education from NBFAA. All of the sessions are approved for .2 NBFAA/NTS continuing education credits.

The NBFAA Business Focus training event was specifically designed for business owners, executives, directors and key individuals who are interested in smooth and profitable business growth and sustaining a competitive advantage. Subject matter experts will lead six workshops developed to deliver real-world solutions to dealing with industry changes and challenges.

In addition to the workshop style sessions, the program will consist of a behind-the-scenes security tour of Marion County Jail and a general session with keynote speaker Brett Bontrager, president of Convergent Security Solutions.

“Each of the six breakout sessions will be limited to 35 participants allowing for a truly interactive learning experience, so early registration is recommended. Members and non-members alike are encouraged to attend,” said NBFAA President George P. Gunning.

The six breakout sessions will include:

This event was developed by NBFAA in response to appeals from its members for industry-relevant training focused on the business aspect of running a solid business and staying ahead of the competition.
