COURSE DESCRIPTION
This 14-hour course is an advanced look at design and installation of intrusion alarm systems. Students learn how to select and apply proper detectors, control panels and communication devices in a variety of residential and commercial intrusion alarm system applications.
The course provides instruction on basic electronics and how they pertain to system design, component selection and troubleshooting. It concludes with a two-hour examination.
