Online Training and
Alarm Licensing
An important message for individuals seeking a state / local alarm license.
An integral part of many state / local alarm license requirements is the need to complete various educational courses, either as part of receiving the initial license, or as part of maintaining an existing license.
While online training clearly offers an alternative for beginning, or continuing your education, NBFAA wants to remind everyone that online training is NOT universally accepted. Some licensing boards accept online training – other do not.
All students are encouraged to contact and confirm the acceptance of online training with your state / local licensing board PRIOR to purchasing any NBFAA NTS online course.
Questions on online training acceptability should be directed to the applicable state alarm association or NBFAA NTS.
